Warehousing and logistics technology

Define the load and operation before selecting the solution

Prepare a warehouse project around the goods, flow, site conditions and local partner role, with engineering questions kept explicit.

Send a product link or catalogue and a short description of the task. The first exchange can be in writing; a meeting is optional.

BEFORE MARKET ENTRY

Turn product details into a clear commercial plan

Work through the application, the buyer and the delivery conditions before choosing a route to market.

Commercial questions to resolve

  1. 01

    Define the application

Is the offer a product, a software implementation, a physical site or an operating service?

  2. 02

    Compare the product

What goods and storage conditions define the application?

  3. 03

    Clarify commercial conditions

What operating flow and site constraints need a technical review?

  4. 04

    Prepare a meaningful review

Who must check engineering safety and the equipment or software interfaces?

  5. 05

    Choose the next commercial step

Which region and local responsibilities should the partner profile cover?

Move from preparation to a next step

Sequence and responsibilities are agreed around your product and the selected commercial route.

  1. 01Confirm the product boundary and missing specifications.
  2. 02Choose the buyer profile and responsibilities to examine.
  3. 03Agree a focused review, sample or pilot before broader commercial commitments.

Three routes to examine

An equipment or WMS integrator

Define the load, operating flow and equipment or software interfaces. Confirm which design, installation and support tasks belong to the integrator.

A direct project with a warehouse operator or buyer

Begin with the warehouse operation and the organisation’s next decision. Site availability, suitability and procurement interest must be verified separately.

Research into a local operating or partnership model

Examine responsibilities for the site, operations, equipment and customer service. Research does not make LYNQ a carrier, warehouse operator or property lessor.

What the agreed work can produce

See the working format
  1. Site and operating profile

A profile of the site, load and required warehouse operations.

  2. Compatibility questions

A compatibility checklist for the supplied inputs, without an engineering conclusion.

  3. Partner role criteria

Operator, integrator and service partner criteria.

  4. Comparable quotation inputs

A request for the information needed for a comparable project quotation.

  5. Site review and negotiations

A site-review and negotiation plan with meetings confirmed separately.

Questions before you begin

01Does this cover equipment, software and operators?

Yes, as distinct scenarios with different buyers and inputs. Equipment needs a load and operation; software needs a workflow and integration context; an operating model needs clearly allocated responsibilities. Selecting the scenario first prevents warehouse area, software functionality and service capacity from being combined into one misleading offer.

02Is LYNQ a carrier or warehouse operator?

This page concerns commercial preparation and the search for relevant partner roles. It does not present LYNQ as a carrier, warehouse owner or customs representative. If a task requires transport, storage or representation, the actual provider and its responsibilities must be identified and agreed separately.

03Who checks engineering parameters?

Qualified specialists must examine the actual site, load, layout and equipment conditions. The commercial brief collects appropriate questions without providing rack design, fire-safety decisions or automatic capacity selection. A compatibility checklist or project discussion should not be treated as an engineering approval for construction or operation.

04Can the task focus only on a WMS integrator?

Yes. Describe the warehouse workflow, existing systems, interface needs, languages and the expected implementation role. Use general descriptions rather than credentials or confidential operational files in the initial brief. Candidate integrators need product-specific capability checks and an agreed pilot or implementation scope before commitments are made.

05How is cold-storage capacity described?

Record usable volume, operating temperature requirements, handling flow and relevant site constraints separately. Floor area is not the same measure as storage volume or throughput. Specialist review is needed to interpret the application; a general cold-store listing does not confirm suitability or available capacity for a particular load.

06Is an available warehouse guaranteed?

No. A site identified during research may not be available or suitable when a project is discussed. Location, capacity, condition and commercial availability require a current check with the responsible party. A site-review plan and a proposed visit are preparation steps, not a reservation or a lease commitment.

The brief does not calculate rack safety, fire design or refrigeration sizing. LYNQ is not presented as a carrier, warehouse owner or customs representative. A cold-store relationship does not create a second physical site.
